“Our only limitations are those we set up in our own minds.” — Napoleon Hill
Sometimes it takes a self help book to show the way. But not everyone benefits from reading inspirational literature. Some walk away with lots of tips and no knowledge of what to do with them.
How does it work?
Self help books act often as a catalyst.
They point the way, list a litany of things to do, to think about, to follow. Sometimes, when we simply don't follow up, the nuggets of wisdom are left in a corner.
Right? Not necessarily. It is how we take the wealth in the author's words, and utilize it to the maximum advantage.
Here's how to maximize your self help book usage:
Take notes while you read.
Make a list of little pointers you can follow
Implement some of the steps but do not be too harsh on yourself if you cannot fulfill targets immediately.
Review and make some more changes
Congratulate yourself for progress made
